13-year old becomes the yougest person to gain admission into a Ghanaian university

A 13-year-old has become the youngest person to gain admission into a university in Ghana. The girl Ruth Ama Gyan-Darkwa has gained admission into the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).Ruth was admitted to study mathematics in the prestigious university.

Speaking with newsmen, the young girl's father, Mr. Kwadwo Gyan-Darkwa, revealed that his daughter received admission into St. Louis Senior High when she was10 and completed her senior high school studies at the age of 12.
