Osayomore Joseph, legendary Benin singer has reportedly been kidnapped by unknown gunmen at his residence in Edo state on Tuesday.
The gunmen abducted him after his performance at the Oba of Benin's 1 year coronation anniversary.
According to sources, his wife also sustained gun shot wounds on the head and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.
According to former PMAN chairman, comedian, now a musician, Maleke Idowu, Sir Osayomore Joseph who is not feeling too well, was taken away by the kidnappers in a motorcycle.
The Benin state police command have commenced investigation and have promised to rescue him.
