It has been gathered that following the viral report, Barau who was attached to Anambra State Police Command has been dismissed after an orderly room trial on Monday, October 30.
Punch reports that the Command’s Police PRO, Mrs. Nkiruka Nwode, who confirmed the dismissal report, further disclosed that Barau will be will arraigned in a magistrate’s court in Anambra State on November 8. Before committing the rape offence, Barau was temporarily attached to the Okpoko Police Division in Onitsha.
