See Reasons Why PSG Needs To Sign a New Midfielder

Unai Emery has suggested Paris Saint-Germain could be in the market for a defensive midfielder in the January transfer window, hoping to add an experienced back-up up for Thiago Motta.

Paris Saint-Germain really surprised the world of football after the signing of Brazilian superstar Neymar from Barcelona for 222 million euros ($261 million).

The Big-spending Paris Saint-Germain also had set up record of 180 million euros deal for teenage sensation Kylian Mbappe, unfortunately the impressive riches of their forward line are not yet reflected in their midfield.





Unai Emery said during a press conference on Monday: "Thiago Motta is a sentry for us and when he’s out we don’t really have a replacement,”

Regular holding player Thiago Motta has missed much of the last six weeks with a knee injury, forcing Emery into more makeshift solutions for the position.
