Moyes Denies Kowledge of Chelsea's Interest in Sriker Andy Carroll.


West Ham manager David Moyes has stated that he is yet to hear from Chelsea if they have interest in a January purchase of striker Andy Carroll.


The Blues are who has termed to be 'struggling for goals' currently are after signing a striker before the end of the January transfer window and has seen Hammer's striker Andy Carroll as a great choice.

Daily Mail reported that Conte wants to bring in reinforcements in January and is convinced that the England international will provide a goal threat and as well, provide back up to first choice striker Alvaro Morata.

“They have not made contact with me, so if they have made contact with someone else I don’t know about it,” Moyes said after Tuesday’s FA Cup 1-0 win over Shrewsbury.

“At the moment Andy Carroll is one of my squad, I want to add to the squad, not lose players.

"I know nothing about it. There have been a lot of rumors regarding a loan but as far as I know it has never officially come from Chelsea. I am not keen to lose any players, I am more keen to add to the squad.
"At the moment Andy has an ankle injury so we are hoping that will settle quickly and he will be back training shortly."
