Former president of Ghana, Jerry Rawlings, has rejected an attempt by the nation’s Ministry of Education to rename the University of Development Studies after him.
The UDS is part of four schools that the Education ministry is renaming after notable Ghanaian personalities.
Rawlings rejected the government’s offer on his verified Facebook page.
